Michele understands how uncomfortable ear problems can be. But many different things can cause a blocked, painful or itchy ear, and without looking inside it she cannot tell what is causing yours. That is why she is not able to advise on symptoms over the phone, by message or through the form.
Confident it is wax?
For example, hearing that has become muffled gradually, a full or blocked feeling, or you have had wax before. Soften it with olive oil for a few days, then book. How to prepare your ears
Not sure, or in pain?
If you have pain, discharge, a high temperature, sudden hearing loss or dizziness, please see your GP or a pharmacist first. Once you know it is wax, Michele will be happy to help.

- Parking: free, on the street outside.
- Access: two small steps at the entrance, about 6 and 8 inches. A standard manual wheelchair fits through the doors; larger electric wheelchairs do not.
- Coming with someone: one person can join you in the clinic room, with your consent.
Before your appointment
Use olive oil spray twice a day for three to five days beforehand, and for at least two. Softened wax comes away far more easily.
Michele does not recommend sodium bicarbonate drops.
