Not every clinic offers both. Michele uses whichever suits your wax, or both, for the same price.

After your appointment

Warm water irrigation at Happy Ears.

Most people walk out hearing noticeably better. A few things are worth knowing for the days that follow.

  • Everything may sound loud. After weeks of muffled hearing, everyday sounds can seem sharp for a while. That is your hearing back to normal.
  • Go easy on water. Showers and hair washing are fine with care, but try not to let water run into the ear canal for the next few days, particularly after irrigation.
  • Leave your ears alone. No cotton buds. Your ears will make a little fresh wax, which protects the canal.
  • No need for olive oil now. Only start it again a few days before a future appointment, if the wax builds up again.

If you have any pain, discharge or your hearing drops again soon after, call Michele on 0115 647 1155.
