Head into the city on the A6011, then up Mansfield Road (A60) to Woodthorpe. By bus allow about 45 minutes: the keyworth into the city, then a Lime Line bus.

What microsuction feels like
- It should not hurt. The wax comes out bit by bit, so most people feel no discomfort at all, especially when the wax has been softened first.
- It is a little noisy. Some people are more sensitive to the sound of the suction. Michele starts slowly and gently, so you can tell her if anything bothers you.
- Keep still. It helps her work quickly and accurately.
- Afterwards. You may notice a few sounds inside your ears for a short while. Occasionally people feel briefly dizzy as the pressure changes. If so, Michele will have you sit a little longer, breathe deeply and have some water.
Hard wax is harder work for the suction and can be more uncomfortable, which is why softening it first matters.
